Mitten Minstries

Every year people in our congregation, who are blessed with the skills of knitting and crocheting spend time at home, out with freinds, in front of the television, just about anywhere creating hand made items.  They consist of scarves, mittens, hats, baby booties and more. 

Hand made items are for people in the City of Rochester who do not have adequete clothing for the winter months who are just trying to keep warm.  Usually in December everyone who participates in this ministry brings their hand made items to Church and from there they are distributed to anyone who needs them. 

Items go to shelters, schools in the city, friends, and neighbors.  Even if you cannot knit or croshet, donations of yarn are always welcome and appreciated.
